Meet Slate – The Sweetest Little Shadow You’ll Ever Have! Playful, affectionate, social, and snuggly. Slate is an absolutely adorable medium‑haired kitten with a soft gray coat and bright, curious eyes. He and his brothers Silva and Stormy were rescued together, and Slate has quickly become the little sweetheart of the bunch.
He loves to play—especially with his brothers—and will happily chase toys, wrestle, and explore. But when playtime winds down, Slate becomes a total cuddle bug. He loves attention, enjoys curling up in your lap, and will follow you around the house like your tiny loyal shadow. Snuggling is one of his favorite hobbies, and he’s always ready for affection. Slate would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. He’d be delighted to be adopted with one of his brothers, but he’ll also do wonderfully on his own with a family who gives him the affection he craves. If you’re looking for a playful, loving kitten who wants to be part of everything you do, Slate is your boy. We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.
While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $188.
For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.
