Meet Namaste and Shanti! Both graduates of our hissy kitten camp, they are siblings and besties.
Shanti is the tabby girl, and she is such a sweetie! And quite the little acrobat when the wand toy comes out. Left to her own devices she will play, climb, and explore until she’s ready for a nap on the windowsill – or your lap!
Though she arrived at her foster home a shy kitten, Shanti quickly revealed herself to be a big floppy goof and absolute snugglebug. This little purr machine lives for belly rubs, and, once she’s comfortable, loves to be held and will happily spend the afternoon in your lap. She’s quick to listen when playing too rough or exploring too thoroughly, and sleeps right through being brushed and getting her nails trimmed. She meows mostly when she wants to play or be picked up. She eats well but is not very food motivated. Luckily she is extremely motivated by cuddles.
Namaste is a sweet tuxedo kitten. He enjoys a healthy mix of time spent cuddling with his human and time spent alone, often, as his name might suggest, in a state of deep contemplation. His favourite place to hang out is the hammock of his cat tree (see photo). When he is on your lap or in your arms, he will often curl his tail around your arm or leg as a gesture of love. He is a huge foodie who loves to devour the finest wet and dry food and will let you know loud and clear when it is time for him to feast. He also enjoys staying in shape by playing with his favourite toy, a stuffed peach.
