Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter; needs DC area foster or forever home!
Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. Because of this, Lita MUST go to a home with a resident dog to help show her the ropes.
Lita is Looking For: Her forever home, filled with snuggles and opportunities to see the world! Extra patient and loving humans who introduce her to new places and people at her pace are exactly what she wants! Along with quality kibble, a cushy dog bed, and endless snuggles. This sweetheart dreams every night about running around with her humans, sniffing all the interesting things on walks together, and then going to a comfy home where she is a cherished part of a family.
