Patty is a Tomboy at heart with a bit of sass! She loves doing zoomies in the yard, keeping up with her bothers, and playing as hard as she can.
Once her energy has been drained and she's ready to relax, she will allow her foster mom to give her some lovin'.
Patty loves toys, treats, and exploring. She would do well with an active family. She would do fine as an only dog or with a dog that can match her energy and playfulness. She definitely has more of an alpha personality.
**Peppermint Patty does have a grade one heart murmur. It is very soft and mild, and likely an innocent puppy murmur that will resolve as she grows. However, heart murmurs are something to be aware of in all Cavaliers. Please read our Cavalier Information Page in full BEFORE applying to adopt Patty or any of our other Cavaliers.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
Secure fenced in yard. Peppermint Patty has lots of puppy energy and loves to run and play, so a physically fenced in yard is a must. We do NOT allow invisible/electric fences to be used for any of our dogs.
Family with the time and patience required to properly train and socialize a puppy.
Cavaliers do not tolerate isolation well. They were bred to be lap/companion dogs and become extremely attached to the people they love. Patty will require a family who is able to be with her most of the time.
Home without children under 8 years of age.
Cavalier savvy family who understands the potential for health issues in Cavaliers is preferred.
Peppermint Patty is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $700 plus a spay deposit of $150, which will be refunded upon proof of spay being provided.
