At just about 10 weeks old, this sweet girl has already been through quite a journey. Spirit was found as a stray, and now she’s looking forward to learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Spirit is a calm, quiet little puppy with the sweetest demeanor. She may be small now, but she has a whole lot of love to give! Her beautiful black coat and precious white stripe on her chest make her absolutely irresistible.Like any young puppy, Spirit will need a family who is ready to help her learn and grow. Puppy obedience training will be important to help her become the best girl she can be, and she’ll need patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement along the way.Because she’s still so young, small children and cats should be supervised around Spirit to make sure everyone has positive and safe interactions.If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle little companion to grow up alongside you, Spirit might just be your girl.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $250.
