Meet Linda!
READ ENTIRELY BEFORE APPLYING, not every is going to be a good match. Read below for requirements.
From a rough start to a total sweetheart, Linda has come so far. Once scared, defensive, and unsure of humans, she has officially discovered the pure joy of being a pampered house dog and she is never looking back!
While she does still remain cautious & timid, once she trusts you, her sweet and loyal side takes over. She will
need a gentle very patient approach while she learns you are safe. It will take time for her to trust you, but once she does, you have a companion for life!
Linda is crate trained, and a crate will be required in her new home as it serves as her safe retreat. She is 100% housebroken (girl can hold it for crazy amounts of time), but there is a solid chance during a transition to a new home she may need pee pads during her nervous phase
.
Her Favorite Things:
Snackies (the absolute key to her heart!), comfy beds & blankets, playtime with other pups, and naps in her comfy beds and blankets!
Her Love Language:
Snackies! Girl loves to eat! But also Devotion. Linda becomes completely obsessed with her person and loves being a faithful sidekick. It will just take time & patience to get there.
Playtime & Personality:
Don't let her quiet side fool you, Linda
LOVES
to play! She gets so much joy and confidence from having canine companions around. And if the have squeaky toys
to share…even better. Her adopter must have at least one playful dog in the home. She will warm up faster to the four legged family members & they will help her confidence.
Linda's Ideal Home
Linda is searching for a patient, gentle home that understands shy dogs need time to blossom. Her dream setup includes:
A Playful Dog Sibling:
A confident, fun dog companion is a
must
for Linda. Other dogs bring out her happy, playful side and help her feel secure!
A Secure Fenced Yard:
Leashes and formal walks are still very scary for her right now, so a safe, fenced yard is required so she can play, stretch her legs, and handle her business comfortably.
A Quiet Environment:
A low-key home without too much hustle and bustle where she can build confidence at her own pace.
If you have a friendly dog who needs a playmate, a safe yard, and a soft spot on the couch for movie nights, Linda would love to meet you!
MUSTS in order to be eligible: already own a playful dog, agree to her using a crate, have a secure fenced yard, &
plenty of patience and realistic expectations
The adoption donation is $25
0 and includes spay, microchip and age appropriate vaccines. Please note - only homes with securely fenced yards and a current dog(s) in the home will be considered. Please follow the link below to submit an application:
