Meet Ginger — It’s Finally Her Turn.
Ginger came to Green Dog Foundation from the San Bernardino Shelter when she was
full-term pregnant and scheduled to be spayed, which would have ended her pregnancy. We were able to get her safely out of the shelter, and shortly afterward, Ginger gave birth to
six beautiful, healthy puppies.
She was an absolutely wonderful mama. Her babies thrived under her loving care, and now that most of them have gone on to their forever homes,
it’s finally Ginger’s turn.
❤️
And whoever adopts this girl is going to be very lucky.
Ginger is truly a sweetheart. She loves people, loves other dogs, and seems to approach just about everything with her gentle, easygoing personality. She is
housebroken, leash trained, great in the car and loves nothing more than cuddling up next to you in bed.
She is generally quiet, but she still enjoys playing and has a wonderful time romping with the younger dogs here at the ranch. She’ll give you a bark when someone is outside, but otherwise she’s a pretty quiet little girl.
And perhaps one of the nicest things we can say about Ginger:
she is just EASY.
She isn't destructive, she isn't troublesome, and she isn't looking for ways to get herself into mischief. She simply wants to be loved and to belong to someone.
After raising six puppies and watching them begin their new lives, this sweet mama deserves a family of her very own. We know she will give someone
many years of devoted love and companionship.
