Macaroni and her sister, Cheese, were adopted from NBCR in August and, through no fault of their own, recently returned to us. They have immediately adapted to their foster home and are ready to find a new, truly forever home and family.

Macaroni and Cheese are bonded sisters who must be adopted together. Every person they meet instantly becomes their new best friend. These energetic, affectionate girls adore playtime just as much as snuggling close to their humans.
Macaroni is the outgoing social butterfly of the pair. She’ll greet you right away with leg rubs and happy purrs, then settle beside you for pets whenever she’s not busy playing with her sister. Cheese starts off a little shy, but it doesn’t last—within moments she’s just as loving, often curling up on your chest and tucking her head under your chin.
The sisters play beautifully together and adapted almost immediately to the older cats in their foster home. Still, what they crave most is human companionship. They would not do well being left alone for long stretches and will thrive in an active household with plenty of time for play, attention, and affection.
