Meet Penny!

Penny was born on September 30, 2025, and is a beautiful, athletic girl weighing about 56 pounds. She came to us after being surrendered to the Hesperia shelter when she found her way into a neighbor’s yard and helped herself to their cat food. Apparently, Penny appreciates a good snack!

Penny previously lived with kids and other dogs and loves being close to her people. In fact, this 56-pound girl is pretty convinced she belongs in your lap! She is affectionate, active, and loves to run, making her a great match for someone looking for a companion to share adventures with.

More than anything, Penny wants to bond with her person and be part of a family. She does chase cats, so a cat-free home would be the best fit for her.

Penny is ready to leave shelter life behind and find someone who will love her as much as she will love them. Could you be Penny’s person? ❤️
