Meet Penny! This sweet lab mix pup is
a very loving, people-oriented puppy who wants to be with her humans as much as possible. She gets incredibly excited when her humans come home and loves to sleep cuddled up next to them. She really enjoys being outside and would likely do best in a home with a yard. She loves to run and could be a great hiking buddy once she has more leash training.
She is very playful and loves fetch and tug-of-war. She is growing quickly and does not always realize how big or rough her play can be, so we are working on manners and gentle play. She responds well to redirection and enjoys having lots of teething toys available. She is very food motivated, loves treats and pup cups, and has already learned “sit.” She is making a lot of progress with potty training.
She is warming up to her crate but still does best with a human nearby and needs continued work on being comfortable alone. She recently found her voice and has been learning when it is appropriate to use it and how to settle. She is good with other dogs, kids and is curious about cats. Overall, she is affectionate, energetic, playful, curious, and eager to learn. She really thrives on human companionship and would benefit from a family who can continue working with her on manners, gentle play, leash skills, crate training, and developing independence.
Penny has received her first round of puppy vaccines, microchip, and will be spayed between 8-12 months as part of her adoption agreement. Her adoption fee is $525.
