Hey there, everyone! I’m Briar, a very sweet, calm, bright, and very friendly Wheaton-colored miniature Schnauzer/ Jack Russel Terrier mix fella who can’t help but make you smile. I'm sturdy, cheerful, as well as playful, so I love vigorously romping with the visiting grandchildren in my foster home. True confessions: sometimes I like to chase the resident cats, but I promise that it’s all in fun and that I wouldn’t dream of hurting them.
A Good Samaritan saw me and my buddy Spring wandering for days in Spring Branch. She finally started feeding me until she could rescue and deliver me to my wonderful Foster Mom. I was so relieved to be in a safe haven because the hardscrabble life is no place for me. Foster Mom assumes that I was someone’s lost or abandoned pet because I’m already kennel-trained and housetrained.

Briar’s $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas.
