Sadly, her family had to make the difficult decision to surrender her because they are moving to a place that does not allow pets. Itâs a heartbreaking change for this sweet girl, but Shanell is hoping her next chapter will lead her straight into a forever home. Shanell is the kind of dog who seems to make friends wherever she goes. She is friendly, affectionate and loves being around people. She gets along with everyone, including children and infants, and she is also comfortable around other dogs and even cats. In fact, she lived with a cat in her previous home and enjoyed hanging out with her feline friend.This smart girl seems to understand what youâre saying and is eager to please, especially when treats are involved! She loves getting pets, showing affection and spending time with her people. When itâs time to have fun, Shanell is ready to play. Balls, stuffed animals and squeaky toys are some of her favorites. And when youâre ready to head outside, she would love to join you for a nice walk. Shanell has a calm energy and a soft approach, making her an easygoing companion who simply wants to be part of the family. She has so much love to give and is ready to put the disappointment of losing her first home behind her.
