Meet Stella! Currently in foster! Stella is a 1½-year-old, 50-pound bundle of brains, energy, and love! This goofy girl has an infectious smile and a heart full of devotion. Once she feels comfortable, Stella becomes a loyal, affectionate companion who loves staying close to her peopleâand she gives some pretty amazing hugs!Stella is incredibly smart and loves to learn. She picked up âsitâ and âdownâ almost instantly and enjoys puzzle toys, training games, and having a routine. She has plenty of energy and would love an active family who enjoys hiking, running, exploring, or even trying dog sports like agility or nosework.Stella also LOVES to play with other dogs! She would do best with a confident, playful medium-to-large dog who can match her enthusiasm and help her continue learning good doggy manners. Because she can get very excited during play, sheâll need supervision around small dogs, senior pets, and small animals. Tough, durable toys are a mustâStella enjoys tug, fetch, and showing her toys whoâs boss!She is harness-trained and enjoys walks, although exciting gear-up time can bring out her happy wiggles. Loud noises can sometimes startle her, so she is continuing to build confidence and work on impulse control.Stella is looking for an active, dog-savvy home that can give her plenty of mental and physical enrichment.
