Forever home wanted: Meet Anabelle, our beautiful little Labby girl!
At just 10 months old, Anabelle was absolutely terrified in the shelter. But after only a few days in a home, this sweet girl is already blossoming before our eyes.
Anabelle has the sweetest, gentlest soul. She is quiet, undemanding, and simply wants to be near you. She follows her person around the house, sleeps nearby, follows the resident dogs everywhere, and is even starting to ask them to play.
And for a 10-month-old puppy, this girl is seriously impressive. She is potty trained, crate trained, stays quietly in her crate when left alone, gets along great with other dogs, walks beautifully on leash without pulling, and rides like a dream in the car. She has not been destructive or stolen anything, is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines, and absolutely loves her treats.
Anabelle can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but give her a few minutes to realize you are a friend and you will start seeing the incredibly sweet girl who was hiding underneath all that shelter fear.
She looks very, very Labrador Retriever, with that beautiful Lab face and the softest, most gentle personality.
Sometimes the best dogs just need a safe place to show you who they really are.
