doug athens

**** SPONSORED ADOPTION FEE ****

Doug is an adorable mixed-breed boy with the softest soul to match his soft coat. Two years old and around 55 lbs, Doug is the perfect medium-sized companion with a calm, good-natured personality.

This sweet guy is known for giving hugs and absolutely lives for affection—pets, cuddles, and attention are his love language. Doug truly loves people, making him a wonderful fit for a social home or an active family looking for a gentle, loving companion. Doug does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but he is still learning appropriate doggie manners. When playing, he can sometimes get a little over-enthusiastic and may not always recognize when another dog needs a break. He is also still learning how to respond appropriately to corrections from other dogs, and on occasion, play may need to be paused so everyone can settle.

Doug is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, and he’s ready to settle into a forever home where he can share his affection (and hugs!) every day.
