Lila is a beautiful young tabby with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling. This charming girl is sweet, playful, curious, affectionate, and wonderfully expressive. She loves her toys, enjoys exploring her surroundings, and is rarely shy about sharing her thoughts. Lila is quite the conversationalist and will greet you with adorable chirps and chatty commentary throughout the day.
Lila's journey has not been an easy one. She and her brother lived at her rescuer's school, where a kind person made sure they were fed each day. Sadly, her brother passed away, leaving Lila alone. When she was about a year old, she was finally brought to safety. Since then, she has spent more than six months waiting in a clinic for someone to notice what a truly special cat she is.
Despite everything she has been through, Lila remains incredibly loving and trusting. She absolutely adores people and is all about head bunts, face kisses, and soaking up attention from her favorite humans. Given the chance, she'll happily show off her affectionate side and remind you just how much she loves being loved.
The clinic environment has been especially difficult for this active, social girl. Lila is more than ready to trade her cage for a sunny window, a soft bed, and a family of her own. We know that once she settles into a home, her playful, interactive, and cuddly personality will truly blossom.
Lila also gets along well with other cats and would do well in a home with a feline friend, provided she is given a slow introduction. She would make a wonderful companion and playmate for another cat.
