butter cookie

Estimated Date of Birth: 10/23/2025 Butter Cookie’s story began with a heartbreaking act of cruelty. Her owner failed to have her spayed, and when she gave birth to a litter of kittens, he planned to put her and her babies in a bag and drown them in a lake. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan learned of his plan that very same day and brought the entire family to Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue. One of our wonderful volunteers stepped up to foster them, giving this little family the safe start they deserved. Despite such a frightening beginning, Butter Cookie and her newborn babies, whose eyes hadn’t even opened yet, have thrived! And it turns out that Miss Butter Cookie is quite the little lovebug. She’s also quite the talker! When she isn’t sitting in or near your lap, she’s likely to be close by as you go about your day, keeping you company and supervising your household activities. And if the food bowl happens to be empty? You can be sure she’ll let you know! Butter Cookie was likely only 4–6 months old when she gave birth in July 2026. She was still practically a baby herself! Thankfully, she has now been spayed and is ready to enjoy being someone’s beloved companion. Butter Cookie loves feather toys, Churu treats, and sunny windows. Most of all, she loves being near her people and sharing her affection (and her opinions!) with them. We aren’t yet sure how Butter Cookie would do with other animals, but we always believe slow, gradual introductions are best when bringing a new pet into the family. This sweet girl has already overcome so much. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s cherished baby. Could Butter Cookie be the perfect addition to your family?Adoption fee: $150Butter Cookie is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is up to date with age appropriate vaccines.
