Meet Sandra!
Sandra is a beautiful 2-year-old Siberian Husky who is getting ready to leave motherhood behind and find a forever family of her very own!
In early September, Sandra gave birth to three beautiful baby girls and has been a wonderful, devoted mom. Now that her puppies are growing and becoming more independent, it’s almost time for Sandra to enjoy being someone’s baby instead!
Because Sandra has been busy nursing and caring for her puppies, we have not yet had the opportunity to see how she does with other dogs. As she finishes weaning her babies and begins spending more time away from them, we’ll continue learning about her personality and will update her profile.
What we already know is that Sandra has a wonderful temperament and absolutely loves spending time with her foster mom. She’s a sweet girl who enjoys human companionship and has been a fantastic mama to her little family.
Once she has fully recovered from nursing and returned to a healthy weight, we expect Sandra to weigh approximately 50–55 pounds. She will also be spayed as part of her vetting.
Sandra will be ready to head to her forever home beginning October 17th.
After dedicating herself to raising her three little girls, Sandra is ready for her turn to be loved, spoiled, and cherished. If you’re looking for a beautiful, sweet Husky to become part of your family, Sandra may be your girl!
The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
