Meet Lucky! Your Handsome, Fun-Loving Companion!
Lucky is a handsome boy who looks very much like a standard poodle, and he’s ready to find the forever home he deserves! After being found tied to a porch, this sweet boy is getting a fresh start in his NJ foster home, and we can’t wait to see him find his perfect match.
Lucky is a big boy with a big personality and plenty of energy! He loves to keep life interesting and will make a great companion for an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures. He’s still learning his manners and can get a little enthusiastic when excited, so he’ll benefit from continued training to help him become the best version of himself.
The good news? Lucky is already house-trained, sleeps happily in his crate, and knows how to sit! He’s a smart boy with lots of potential who will thrive with a family willing to give him the exercise, structure, and positive guidance he needs. Because of his size and enthusiasm, a home with older children would be the best fit.
Lucky has lived with small dogs in his foster home and generally ignores other dogs on walks. While he may enjoy having a canine companion, he would also be happy as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. If there’s another dog in the home, a good match and a gradual introduction will help everyone settle in comfortably.
With his handsome looks, lively personality, and potential to be a wonderful companion, Lucky has so much to offer the right family. He’s ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, fun, and plenty of happy adventures. Could you be the lucky one to give him his fresh start?
Lucky is up to date on vaccines, heartworm-negative, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
