Meet Jojo!
This adorable, sweet pup was still just a baby when she was seen running around Chester, SC as a stray. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan took her in and advocated for her to find a rescue. We had the perfect foster home available, so JoJo became a Worty Dog.
This pretty girl has been fostered for the past few months with Laine, Gary, and their pack of four pups, where she's been learning the rules of home life and getting ready for her next chapter.
What have we learned about JoJo so far?
Playful, sassy, and very smart
Champion snuggler who appreciates a good pup pile
Toy connoisseur
Water lover
Pack member extraordinaire
Perfect sidekick for everyday life adventures
JoJo is full of life, love, and playful energy. She is naturally confident and affectionate and doesn’t quite understand the concept of personal space. She loves to cuddle with her foster mom and dog siblings and wants to be involved in everything happening around her.
She is incredibly dog-friendly and has become best buddies with her packmates. She loves to play, loves the water, and approaches life with endless enthusiasm. JoJo is always ready for her next adventure and would thrive in an active home with a playful canine companion who shares her love of fun.
JoJo is crate trained and housetrained. She’s curious and excited to explore the world around her, although she can be a little mischievous when left to her own devices, so her foster parents crate her when they leave the house.
Initially, much of the world was brand new to her. Automatic doors, stores, new people, and unfamiliar experiences were a little overwhelming at first, but her foster mom has been taking her on regular outings, and JoJo gains confidence with each new experience.
If you’re looking for a fun, playful pack companion to bring joy and energy to your home, JoJo is your girl!
JoJo will be coming to town in early October.

You can also help save dogs like this one by becoming a foster, providing a rescue dog with a temporary home and giving them the love and care they need until they are permanently adopted. Every person who fosters is directly responsible for saving the life of a dog, because we can only save as many dogs as we have foster families available to welcome them into their homes.
Worthy Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue that primarily adopts to families in the DC Metro area.
