Meet Wicket — our wonderfully wobbly little adventurer!
Wicket is a sweet one-year-old boy who happens to be a little extra special. He has mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), also known as “wobbly cat syndrome,” and he is deaf—but please don’t tell Wicket he’s different. He certainly doesn’t know it!
Nothing slows this boy down. Wicket loves exploring the house, chasing balls, playing, and testing out his latest pounces and jumps. And when he nails one? He’s so proud of himself that he’ll take a victory lap around the room! Watching him celebrate his accomplishments is guaranteed to make you smile.
When the adventures are over, Wicket is just as happy curling up in your lap for a cozy nap. He’s affectionate, curious, funny, and full of personality.
Even his coloring is special. Wicket has a gorgeous, unusual coat sometimes described as lavender or dilute caramel—a beautiful color for a truly one-of-a-kind boy.
Wicket is looking for a home where he can be the only cat, because this little guy would very much like to hog all the love and attention for himself. ❤️
His CH isn’t something that needs to be “fixed.” It’s simply part of what makes Wicket, Wicket. He may wobble through life a little differently, but he approaches every day with determination, joy, and a whole lot of heart.
Come fall in love with our sweet Wicket. Sometimes the ones who are a little different turn out to be the ones who are extraordinary. ❤️
