minnie

Meet Minnie—a little lady with big ears and a sweet spot for being wherever her people are!Minnie is a 3-year-old Dachshund/Terrier mix with an adorable scruffy face and a gentle, loving nature. She can be timid and shy at first, but give her time to settle in and you’ll discover a devoted little companion. Her favorite place? Wherever you just went. Minnie happily follows her foster around, loves attention, and even spends her nights sleeping with her foster’s daughter. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with her foster’s canine crew. Minnie is good with cats and children too! She seems to love people, but can be a little wary of some men until she has time to get comfortable.Minnie is house, kennel, and leash trained, and treats are definitely on her list of favorite things! Loud noises can make her uneasy—even the hairdryer gets a suspicious look—so she’ll appreciate gentle reassurance and a patient family while she adjusts.Minnie is still new to rescue, and we’re enjoying getting to know her. With a little patience and plenty of kindness, this sweet girl is ready to become someone’s much-loved shadow. The suggested adoption fee for Minnie is $565.
