Gladys and Mellie are two kittens rescued from different situations. When we paired them up they become best friends instantly! Gladys is the black girl kitten and Mellie is her brindle tabby bff. Both of their coats are silky soft and when they snuggle you there is no better feeling.

They love to watch birds, wrestle and play, and sleep on your shoulder (especially Mellie)

Inspired by the parable of the starfish, Big Apple Cats is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need, one life at a time. Our focus is on the quality of rescue, and truly 'making a difference to that one'. Our mission is to find compassionate and caring adopters so that every cat receives the love, care, and second chance they deserve.

We strive to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering, while advocating for the voiceless and underserved cats in our neighborhoods. We aim to make a differenceâone cat at a timeâand to inspire others in our community to start saving 'starfish' of their own.
