Say hello to Birdy, a sweet, brown Beagle mix with a gentle heart and so much love to give! At 2 years old, this medium-sized girl is ready to start a new chapter and find the loving forever home she deserves. Birdy is hoping someone special will open their heart and home to her. ??Birdy is a smart girl who loves showing off what she knows! She can sit, shake, and take treats ever so nicely. She also walks beautifully on a leash, making her a lovely companion for peaceful strolls and quiet adventures together.Birdy would thrive in a calm, predictable home where she can feel safe, settle in at her own pace, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life with her people. She may enjoy a laid-back male canine companion, provided he has a lower-energy personality and they are a good match. Birdy would also be perfectly suited to being your one and only, soaking up all the love as the star of the show!A home with older, respectful children is recommended, and Birdy needs a cat-free home. More than anything, she is looking for a peaceful environment where she can relax, feel secure, and build a lasting bond with her new family.Birdy has already learned some wonderful manners and is ready to keep learning alongside someone who will cherish her. All she needs now is a chance â a soft place to land, a kind heart to trust, and a family who will love her for the rest of her life.Could you be Birdyâs happily-ever-after? ??Give this lovely girl the fresh start she deserves, and let her show you just how special a bond with a rescue dog can be. ??If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100
