DANISH NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Danish Best Guess for Breed: Pointer/Lab mix
Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of Oct. 2026 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 41.3lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: Shelter in Puerto Rico---needs DC area foster or forever home!
Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.
Danish is Looking For: This young sato - a dog from Puerto Rico - is eager to get her own humans in the DC area for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration! Making pup pals along the way would be great, and she'd like to go to dog school, too, so she can show how super smart she is.
Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see Danish by your side?
