NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

NEW INTAKE 10/14/2026: Zermatt - male - approx 4 years old - 7.1 pounds - Maltese

Reason for intake: We took in six dogs from animal control after they were seized due to neglect. Zermatt was the worst of the dogs. They all had ear mites, but it was crazy the amount of hair, gunk and ear mite funk we pulled out of Zermatt's ears! As we were plucking, his little back legs were trying to scratch. It must have felt SO GOOD! It's surprising none of them had infected ears but thank goodness they didn't. Zermatt must have also been loaded with fleas because upon separating his hair, there wasn't a spot that didn't have flea dirt. (Animal control dosed him a Capstar to get rid of the live fleas immediately.) Anyway, they are all going to our groomer and the vet to get everything they need and then we'll post them for adoption. We may be getting more from this situation and we'll post if and when we do.

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
