It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

ELI, his mom ESSIE and his siblings, WAYON and ELIZABETH were kicked out of their home. So the neighbor (our foster now) picked them up and reached out to us. Then about 2 weeks later, she picked up 3 kittens that were abandoned at a vet, So ESSIE raised all 6 kittens. The other 3 are WALTER, SONNY and MAXINE.

Meet ELI, an adventurous Egyptian Mau tabby kitten from Beaumont, California, whose curious mind, playful spirit, and affectionate personality make him a little bundle of fun with four paws and a whole lot of charm. This handsome boy is always ready to investigate something new, launch into a game, or find the nearest human who might be available for a cuddle. With ELI around, everyday life is sure to include plenty of laughter, surprises, and sweet kitten moments.

Eli’s story began on the streets of Beaumont, where he was found with his mama, ESSIE, and his siblings. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in to help the little family, bringing them into a loving foster home where they could grow and discover the joys of feeling safe and cared for. Now ELI is ready to begin his next adventure with a family who will appreciate his lively personality and affectionate heart.

This boy is wonderfully adventurous and endlessly curious. He loves exploring his surroundings and investigating whatever catches his attention. If something interesting is happening, you can bet ELI wants to be part of it! He is very playful and enjoys opportunities to chase toys, pounce, leap, and show off his impressive kitten acrobatics. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he has a special talent for turning ordinary moments into entertaining little adventures.

But ELI is not all action and exploration. He is also a cuddly sweetheart who loves being held and has a charming habit of jumping right onto you when he wants to be involved. Apparently, personal space is optional when there are hugs and attention to be enjoyed! His affectionate nature makes him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a kitten who wants to participate in just about everything.

ELI shares a particularly sweet bond with his twin sister, ELIZABETH. These two look remarkably alike and get along beautifully, making their connection extra special. Their playful companionship is lovely to see, and they would bring plenty of fun to a family that enjoys watching kittens grow and explore together.

ELI is ready to fill his next chapter with playtime, cuddles, and exciting discoveries. Could this affectionate little tabby be the snuggly new companion who brings extra warmth and happiness into your life?

9. Take the Kitty Home

ELI is currently at PETSMART *** 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, California 92562 ***

VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.

Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. VISITING HOURS: 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours.. FOR HOLIDAYS email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet and greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

ELI is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $250 covers:

Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
