This pup will be available to meet starting on 10/24SNAGGLE — THE TOOTH, THE WHOLE TOOTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TOOTH! Some dogs have perfect smiles. Snaggle has something even better: a smile with PERSONALITY and a little extra tooth sticking out to make sure you notice him! Meet Snaggle, a 3.8-year-old, 24-lb neutered Terrier with the most ridiculously adorable snaggletooth and a heart that's somehow even cuter than his face! Snaggle arrived at the shelter as an unclaimed stray, but this sweet little gentleman hasn't let that dampen his spirits one bit! He absolutely LOVES people, gets along wonderfully with dogs big and small, and believes everyone he meets is a potential new best friend. And despite being a grown man with nearly four years of life experience, Snaggle would like everyone to know that he is, in fact, JUST A BABY. Pick him up, cradle him in your arms, and he'll happily accept his rightful position as your precious little bundle of joy. Personal space? Never heard of it. He's also quite the social butterfly! Snaggle had a blast romping around with his doggy friends during our foam party, proving he's equally happy getting silly with the crew or being carried around like the tiny prince he is. He walks well on leash, seems potty trained, and at 24 lbs, he's the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy! Snaggle is ready to trade his days as an unclaimed stray for a lifetime of Colorado adventures, cozy couches, doggy friendships, and humans who appreciate a smile that's just a little crooked. He's sweet, social, silly, and about as lovable as they come. And that little tooth? That's just his signature feature. Snaggle isn't asking for much. Just a family to love, a place to belong, and someone willing to hold their nearly four-year-old baby whenever he requests it.They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
