Meet Agnes!Agnes has the face of an angel and the soul of a 57-year-old waitress who’s worked the overnight shift at a greasy spoon diner for the last 30 years. She’s got opinions, she’s got boundaries, and she will absolutely call you “hon.” She’s seen things, she’s not particularly impressed by your nonsense, and she would like you to know that she’s entitled to feel however she feels about it. But underneath that grumbly exterior is an absolute sweetheart! Agnes, or "Aggie" as her foster mom affectionately calls her, is a gorgeous, sturdy tortoiseshell girl with a beautiful white stripe down her forehead and a heart full of love. Aggie's story began on a cold, rainy night when she approached her rescuers, begging for help. There was no way they could leave this poor girl to suffer. She had several deep bite wounds on her tail that had become dangerously infected, leaving her in severe pain and with loss of function. Thankfully, she received the treatment she desperately needed, and now that she’s feeling better, her loving personality has really come shining through! And oh, does this girl LOVE attention! Agnes is a social, affectionate cuddle bug who will happily walk right up to people and give them a friendly headbutt to say hello. She loves being petted and will gladly curl up in your lap or snuggle beside you on the couch while you watch TV or read a book. She’s the kind of companion who wants to be part of your day, preferably from a comfortable spot right next to you. Now, we wouldn’t want you to think she’s lost ALL of her sass. Agnes still likes to grumble from time to time because a lady is entitled to her opinions! She’s more bark than bite, and her little complaints are just part of her charm. Honestly, after everything she’s been through, we think she’s earned the right to be a little opinionated. Most importantly, she’s ready to trade her rough outdoor life for a cozy couch, a warm lap, and the comfortable retirement she’s always deserved. We don’t know how Agnes ended up outside, but given how friendly and affectionate she is, it’s possible she once had a home of her own. Whatever her past may hold, she deserves a future filled with safety, warmth, and unconditional love.Agnes may do well with other feline friends, provided introductions are slow and patient. After having to fend for herself outdoors and enduring such a painful injury, she can be a little reactive when meeting new cats. Giving her time to feel safe and comfortable will be important as she settles into her new home. This special girl has already been through far too much hardship. Now it’s her turn to enjoy the good life: cozy naps, endless pets, a full food bowl, and someone who loves her exactly as she is.Are you ready to give Agnes the retirement she deserves? She’s ready to clock out of the night shift for good, hon. WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION.
