hubby

Hubby is a total sweetheart who lives for cuddles and affection. He’s extremely loving, a very calming presence, and he loves people. He gets along great with strangers and is very friendly. He’s 11 years old, food-motivated, and low-key. He’s not a playful cat, so he’s best suited to a laid-back home rather than one with a lot of chaos or other high-energy pets.

He does have some care needs. He’s had recurring issues with constipation, so we’re hoping to find an adopter with experience managing a pet’s medical needs. His daily routine includes Royal Canin wet food, Purina Pro Plan Hydracare, and Purina Pro Plan probiotic, every day. He’s also a bit overweight at 18 lbs, so a home with room to encourage some gentle exercise and a commitment to a healthier diet would really help him thrive.

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.

This is a courtesy listing, meaning the cat(s) are being offered for adoption by a rescuer, rescue group, or individual unaffiliated with the Brooklyn Cat Cafe or Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition. As BBAWC has not evaluated the animal(s) we therefore cannot provide information on health or temperament. After we receive an application, we will connect you with the current caretaker of this cat.
