stella

Stella (A143859) is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighed 59.7 pounds on intake! 10/22/26 This cuddly girl is Stella! Stella was surrendered to the shelter because she and the other female dog were not getting along well in the home. This did result in her getting bit by the other dog. She was seen by the vet and received an antibiotic injection and pain meds. We are recommending that she go to a home without female dogs and ensuring you are making appropriate introductions with male dogs. Stella was said to do well with people of all ages including babies and children. She was described as being an over all friendly and affectionate pup! Stella was said to be kennel trained, housebroken, rides well in a car, and knows her basic commands. She can be vocal at times and does enjoy digging when outdoors. Providing her with plenty of stimulation (mental and physical) is important. If you are interested in meeting Stella, please let us know!
