Meet Honey, a 45-lb. Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her wagging tail! This 1-year-old lovebug is all about kisses, cuddles, and being your very best shadow.Honey is curious about the world and loves exploring all the sights, sounds, and smells on her walks. Her leash manners are improving every day, though she still gets excited when she spots a dog she’d love to befriend. When adventure time is over, she’s happy to curl up on the couch for a good snuggle and nap. She’s also a pretty good girl about chewing only her toys, although socks can be tempting. Her favorite comfort item? Her emotional support stuffed banana, of course!Honey is fully housebroken and does best with regular potty breaks. She’s still working on her crate routine, but she’s making progress and settling in better overnight, especially after a day full of playtime. This sweet girl is generally gentle, but she doesn’t always realize her own size, so a home without small children would be best. She’s friendly with dogs of all sizes, though her play style can be pretty physical. She could be happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love, or enjoy having a canine buddy who matches her play style. Cats are still an unknown.Honey loves being around her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. A yard would be a bonus, but she’s also done well in a townhome with a small yard and daily walks. She may exchange friendly barks with neighborhood dogs, but she hasn’t barked at or shown aggression toward people. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling, fill your home with tail wags, and happily snuggle up beside you, Honey might just be your girl!Ready to meet Honey?
