Ozzy is a happy go lucky guy who enjoys life at his own pace! He’s so excited to see you when you stop by his kennel, and he’s always ready to get out and stretch his legs. Loose in the play yard he’s happy to walk around and do his own thing – mostly sniffing everything. He’s a mostly low energy boy, but when the toys come out he kicks it up a couple of notches! He loves chasing after toys, and will spend a little time playing with it before moving on to his next adventure. Ozzy also already knows how to sit on command. While treat motivated he knows to always take them gently from your hand. Ozzy enjoys being pet, but he doesn’t let it cramp his style. If you’re next to him you’re always able to love on him, but don’t expect him to hang around for attention. He’s usually more focused on exploring with his nose to stop for some love. He’s an independent kind of guy who doesn’t need constant entertainment or attention to enjoy your company.Ozzy has done well around other dogs in shelter playgroups, but he’s more of a coexist nearby and everyone do their own thing kind of friend, as opposed to actually playing with them. If you’re looking for a cheerful, easygoing companion with both a playful side and an independent streak, Ozzy might be just the guy for you!
