gracie

This pup will be available to meet starting on 10/31This lovely little lady previously had a home, but her owners felt apartment living wasn't the right fit. Now Gracie is looking for a fresh start and a family who will love her for the wonderful girl she is! And she's already got quite the résumé! Gracie is housetrained, walks well on leash, and according to her previous owners, she's good with kids, dogs, AND cats! She's also done well with dogs big and small, proving that good friendships come in all sizes. At just 17 lbs, Gracie is the perfect little adventure companion! She's ready to enjoy everything Colorado has to offer, from scenic walks and outdoor adventures to cozy evenings curled up with her favorite humans. She's got the Aussie good looks without taking up the entire couch! Gracie isn't looking for anything extravagant. Just a loving home where she can settle in, feel secure, and enjoy being someone's treasured companion. If you've been dreaming of a gorgeous little Aussie to share your life with, Gracie might just be your dream girl! They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
