Despereaux and Coach Beard are two “brothers” who chose to be family in their foster home. They would love to grow up and spend their lives together, eating, playing, and sleeping the days away.

very vocal
, endlessly curious, and a true wanderer. Coach Beard likes to explore, investigate, and occasionally disappear on a mysterious little side quest—only to reappear as if nothing happened. If there’s somewhere interesting to go, you can bet he’s already headed there.
Like his namesake from Ted Lasso, Coach Beard is a little mysterious, a lot unconventional, and always seems to have a plan… even if the rest of us have absolutely no idea what that plan is.
He may not be the kitten who follows the crowd, but that’s exactly what makes him so much fun. He’s got his own way of doing things, plenty to say, and an adventurous spirit that keeps life interesting.
