Meet Tripper!
A sweet eight-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair cat currently in Bay City, MI, whose handsome tuxedo coat and gentle heart make him a charming companion with a special talent for snuggles.
Weighing around 12 pounds, Tripper is a lovable gentleman who believes the sweetest moments in life are spent curled up beside someone special! He may be a little shy when you first meet, but beneath that cautious exterior is an affectionate boy just waiting to share his love.
Tripper likes to take his time getting comfortable in new surroundings. Once he feels safe, his personality blossoms into that of a devoted lap cat who adores gentle pets, cozy cuddles, and affectionate head bumps. His favorite activity? Snuggling with his favorite human, of course! Those sweet little head butts are his way of saying you're someone special.
This sensitive sweetheart thrives in a peaceful, predictable environment where he can relax without unnecessary stress. Tripper would be happiest as the only pet in a quiet, loving home, as other cats and dogs make him nervous. His experience with children is unknown, so a calm family who respects his need for personal space would be a wonderful match.
Tripper also needs a little extra medical care. Diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) and urinary crystals in September 2026, he requires prescription food, medication, regular veterinary appointments, and a low-stress lifestyle to support his urinary health. He's neutered and up to date on vaccinations. A patient, attentive pet parent who understands his medical needs will help him stay comfortable and happy.
With kindness, consistency, and plenty of affection, Tripper has so much love to share! Imagine peaceful evenings with this handsome tuxedo boy nestled in your lap, gently nudging your hand for another pet. He's ready for a new chapter filled with comfort, companionship, and quiet moments together.
