wilson

Meet Wilson: a sweet soul looking for a little patience and a whole lot of love! Wilson is an adult lab mix with a gentle heart. He's sharing his foster home with four other dogs and a 5-year-old boy, and he gets along wonderfully with everyone. His sweet, submissive nature makes him easy to root for, and even easier to love. Wilson is still learning that a leash doesn't have to be scary. With support from his foster family and a trainer, he's working through that fear and building confidence. He's looking for a patient family who will continue that work, celebrate his progress, and let him learn at his own pace. A home with a securely fenced yard would be the best fit, giving Wilson room to enjoy being a dog while keeping everyday leash pressure low as he learns. Wilson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heart worm negative. All he's missing is a family to call his own. If you have a little patience, a yard, and room in your heart for a sweet boy finding his courage, Wilson would love to meet you. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
