Meet Mama Indigo: Retired Mama, Full-Time Queen!
Once upon a time, this beautiful little black panther was busy raising her babies. But now that her mama duties are officially retired, Mama Indigo is ready for her favorite job yet: being somebody’s VERY spoiled baby!
At just 1 year old, Indigo has already experienced some of the rougher sides of life, and she’s ready to trade those hard days for soft blankets, full food bowls, and a human who understands that she deserves to be cherished. ❤️
When you first meet Indigo, she may be a little shy and timid. She likes to take her time getting to know you before letting you into her inner circle. But once you’ve earned her trust, watch out! This sweet girl transforms into an affectionate little attention queen who believes your lap, your couch, and your entire existence were specifically designed for HER enjoyment. Once she’s in cuddle mode, she expects your focus to remain right where it belongs: on HER. If you happen to get distracted, she may deliver a gentle little love nip to let you know that you appear to have forgotten who the real star of this household is!
Indigo has the most adorable little bow-legged look to her back legs, giving her an extra dash of unique charm. She independently entertains herself beautifully, but she also enjoys playing with her kittens, batting toys around the room, and spending time with her humans. Recently, she’s even started showing potential in learning the ends and outs of fetch! Who knows?
When playtime is over, Indigo is all about cuddles. She loves curling up on you or snuggling beside you while you watch TV. Your favorite show might be on the screen, but let's be honest, the gorgeous little shadow beside you will be the real entertainment.
Life on the streets taught Indigo that the world can be a tough place. Because of her experiences, she needs a place where she can feel safe, secure, and confident that her home is truly hers, so she would do best as either an only cat OR adopted with one of her babies.
And speaking of her babies, her three remaining little black panthers are also looking for forever homes!
Eenie: Her handsome little boy
Meeny: Her sweet little girl
Miney: Her curious little girl
Adopting Indigo with one of her kittens could be a wonderful way to keep a familiar feline friendship while giving this deserving mama the fresh start she needs. ❤️
Mama Indigo has spent her first year of life taking care of everyone else. Now it’s her turn to be someone's baby.
If you have a heart for the shy ones, a soft spot for black cats, and absolutely no problem being the center of your cat’s universe, Indigo might just be your girl.
