Meet Farmer, a handsome 2-year-old Corgi with a big personality and a heart just waiting for the right person to understand him! ❤️
Rescued by GreenDog Foundation from Palmdale Shelter, Farmer was labeled “Rescue Only” due to sensitivities around his neck and having a collar attached. However, Farmer is okay on a slip lead and will walk beautifully on one.
Since arriving in foster care, Farmer has been given something every dog deserves: time, patience, understanding, and space to decompress. And what a difference it’s made!
Farmer has shown us that he can be a sweet, calm, easygoing companion who enjoys affection, pets, and belly rubs — on his terms. He’s also done well around his foster family’s child, who understands and respects a dog’s personal space.

Farmer would thrive with an experienced, preferably Corgi-savvy owner who understands canine body language, respects boundaries, and allows trust to develop naturally.
A peaceful, predictable home without constant hustle and bustle would be ideal. An adult home or one with older, dog-savvy children would be best.
Farmer doesn’t need perfection. He needs understanding. With the right person, we believe this misunderstood little guy could be a wonderful, easygoing companion.
Sometimes the dogs who need a little extra patience have so much love to give. ❤️
