Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location Meet Florence! This sweet senior lady is ready to find a soft place to land and spend her golden years surrounded by love. Florence is an estimated 10-year-old Min Pin mix who came to us as a stray, so unfortunately, we don't have any background information on her. She's missing most of her teeth, but that doesn't make her any less deserving of a wonderful forever home! We've reduced Florence's adoption fee to just $75 to help cover the cost of her vaccines, microchip, and heartworm test.Senior dogs have so much love left to give. Could you be the person who makes Florence's golden years her best years? Daviess County It Takes A Village2620 Hwy 81, Owensboro, KYAll of our dogs are given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
