Fence needed? Preferred. Georgia has only known foster life with a fenced yard and loves the freedom. She has clearly never been on a leash before rescue and doesn't think highly of them.

Here's Your Quick Peek:
Georgia is the sweetest, most playful, all-around bestest girl you will ever meet. Though she may be timid at first meeting, within 3 weeks she will be your go-everywhere shadow and close friend. When she's awake, Georgia is playing with toys or coaxing other small dogs to play with her. When she is tired, she's either finding your lap for a nap or snuggled under the covers for the night.
Must have: A home with another small, active dog for playtime; a home where your dogs sleep in the bed; a home committed to the long-term care of a dog who is vision impaired
Exercise: Georgia knows nothing about walking on a leash. She LOVES to play in the fenced yard in her foster home. She is a young dog who thrives on daily physical and mental exercise.
Best with: A home with work-from-home or active retiree families. Georgia really prefers to be with her people.
Not ideal for: Homes with very young children - Georgia is simply too small. Georgia is also still working on potty training. If you are going to be frustrated when she poops in the house, this is not your dog.
Energy level: Georgia is equal parts playing with a toy and her foster sibling and snuggling in your lap.
Georgia arrived in rescue as part of a hoarding case. She has no vision in one eye. She's been through cataract surgery in her other eye and has good vision. She will require long-term monitoring for her eyes and will go home on eye drops. Our original intake exams on Georgia suggested she may be up to 10 years old. After veterinary exams, she was re-aged to an estimate of 3 years young.
Good with dogs: Georgia loves other dogs and requires another dog in the home. She's been around large and small dogs and is fine with everyone.
Good with kids: Georgia loves everyone. However, she is a small dog. If there are children in the home, they need to be 10 or older.
Cats: Georgia has seen cats once and ignored it. To our knowledge she has never lived with cats. We suspect she will see them as something to play with, just like another dog.
Fun fact:
