Meet Otto – A Little Prince with a Whole Lot of Puppy!
Some dogs are cute. Some dogs are handsome. And then there's Otto.
This breathtaking 10-month-old, 14-pound, purebred long-haired miniature dachshund looks like he stepped straight out of a royal portrait. With his rich chocolate coat, flowing silky ears, and those gorgeous, expressive eyes, Otto is quite simply a showstopper.
But don't let his regal appearance fool you. Underneath all that elegance is 100% PUPPY!
We're talking wiggles, jumpies, zoomies, and an endless supply of enthusiasm for life! Otto is a happy, healthy, playful little fellow who hasn't quite figured out that slowing down is an option.
And Otto doesn't believe in simply following his people around. Oh, no. He's not your shadow. He's your assistant! Whatever you're doing, Otto is convinced you could use his help. He's happiest being involved in your day, supervising your activities, and making sure you never have to do anything alone.
This sweet boy absolutely loves affection. He's equally enthusiastic about giving kisses and receiving cuddles, and he's more than happy to remind you when it's time for a little love.
Otto is also a wonderful walking companion! He's already terrific on a leash, doesn't pull, and is perfectly content to follow wherever you lead. He's making excellent progress with his potty training and is nearly there.
He loves squeaky toys, sturdy chew toys, and anything that gives him an excuse to play.
Otto has recently been neutered, and those puppy hormones are beginning to settle down. He's learning to be a little less interested in the ladies and a little more focused on being the charming gentleman we know he can be!
As for cats, Otto's curiosity can be pretty intense, so a cat-free home would be the safest choice.
Otto's ideal family will appreciate both sides of this remarkable little dog: the affectionate, devoted companion who wants to shower you with kisses, and the energetic, mischievous puppy who still has so much to learn and discover. He'll thrive with a family that offers plenty of playtime, positive guidance, patience, and, of course, lots of love.
Otto may look like royalty, but he's not searching for a palace. He's searching for his people.
And whoever is lucky enough to bring this extraordinary little boy home is going to feel like royalty every single day. ❤️
