Kitty Meow Meow is a sweet young female who deserves a home where she will never be left behind again. She started showing up in our neighborhood, crying at our door for food. She was quite thin, so we began feeding her and tried to find her owner. Sadly, we learned that her owner had moved away and left her behind.
We've been caring for Kitty Meow Meow and letting her stay with us and she has turned out to be such a loving cat! She loves curling up on our laps or snuggling in bed with us, purring away. She is also an independent girl who enjoys spending time outdoors and would love a home where she can continue to do that safely.
We believe Kitty Meow Meow is about 3 years old, and we know she is spayed. She appears healthy, although we haven't had her examined by a veterinarian. She does fine with the other neighborhood cats and simply avoids dogs when they come around.
We have grown very fond of her, but we travel quite a bit and feel it isn't fair to Kitty Meow Meow. She deserves a home with someone who can give her the love, attention, and companionship she enjoys. Because Kitty Meow Meow is used to being outdoors, her new family will need to keep her strictly indoors for at least 3–4 weeks while she settles in and learns that this is her new home. Even after that, outdoor access should be introduced carefully, as cats sometimes try to return to familiar territory.
Kitty Meow Meow has already been abandoned once, and we want to make sure her next home is truly her forever home. We hope someone will give this sweet girl the happy ending she deserves. This cat lives in Portland with her rescuers and her rehoming fee is $50.
Your information will be forwarded to the rescuer for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.
