Otto started life as a tiny, fragile newborn, but this little boy quickly showed us just how smart, determined, and full of personality he is! Otto was found crying, cold, and all alone in someone's backyard. He weighed just
3 ounces
, with his umbilical cord still attached and his eyes tightly shut. This precious newborn needed help immediately, so we quickly arranged for him to be cared for by our full-time bottle feeder. As a newborn, Otto spent most of his time nestled inside a carrier with a heating pad to keep him warm, receiving bottle feedings every 2–3 hours around the clock. With dedicated care, warmth, and lots of love, this little fighter began his journey toward becoming the adorable kitten he is today. Otto takes his food VERY seriously! He would cry right on schedule to let us know that his bottle was due—and heaven forbid his meal be late! This little guy knows what he wants and isn't afraid to speak up about it. Once his tummy is full, though, the transformation is magical. His demanding little cries turn into happy purrs, and he becomes an absolute
purr ball
. Full tummy, happy kitty!
Otto is one bright little boy! Starting at just
3 weeks old
, he began whining when he needed to use the litter box, then he used it all by himself. Even at such a young age, he was already communicating his needs and figuring things out. This clever little guy continues to amaze us!
Otto then started taking an interest in toys and beginning to discover just how much fun playtime can be! So far, his absolute favorites are
crinkle balls
. There's something about that crinkly sound that catches his attention, and it's adorable watching this little guy explore a whole new world of kitten fun. We can't wait to see what other toys capture his heart as he grows!
Otto is a gorgeous
gray tabby with giant, expressive eyes
that seem to tell you exactly what's on his mind. But his most unique feature? His incredible whiskers! The
top half is black, while the bottom half is white
, giving him a distinctive look that's all his own. Just one look at those big eyes and two-toned whiskers, and you'll understand why he's so unforgettable!
Otto's bottle-fed foster has young
children, adult cats, and other young foster kittens
. He got used to the everyday hustle and bustle of a multi-cat household and the company of both his human and feline friends. From a tiny 3-ounce newborn who needed a warm bed and round-the-clock bottles to a clever little foodie with a powerful purr, Otto has come such a long way.
He's expressive, smart, food-motivated, and full of character. Whether he's announcing that it's bottle time, gobbling up his Churu, discovering the joy of crinkle balls, or purring contentedly with a full tummy, Otto knows how to make himself the center of attention. Warning though: Adopting Otto may result in frequent laughter, endless admiration of his fabulous whiskers, and an uncontrollable urge to spoil him rotten, especially since he loves nothing more than napping on you. Priority attention will be given to adopters who want to adopt 2 from us and 2nd will be those who already have a young kitty at home.
We will let you know as soon as our Kitten Foster Program Manager reviews the applications received. All of our kittens must be spayed or neutered in our care before adoption can be finalized. Kittens require a $150 minimum adoption fee to help us fund our program. We are looking forward to your application submission.
