Bessie is a medium sized Lab puppy who is sure to pull at your heartstrings! She’s still figuring out that the world – and people – aren’t so scary! She’s a naturally timid girl who takes her time getting comfortable. Underneath her shy exterior is a girl full of potential though! With patience and time, she’s coming out of her shell more every day. Bessie is brave enough to take treats gently from your hand, and she allows some pets despite her nerves. We can tell from her previous short term foster homes that she’s much more comfortable around other dogs and seems to take confidence from having a canine companion nearby. She's lived with both dogs and cats in a foster home and did well with them, and she hasn't had any major accidents in the house! Bessie loves squeaky toys and, once she has some time to warm up, she’s been known to enjoy lap time and being help. She’s not the kind of puppy who runs up to everyone looking for attention, but she’s full of potential just waiting to blossom! A patient home willing to let her set the pace with a calm environment would do wonders for this girl!
