Meet Fern, a.k.a. Fernway

Six little pounds of bear paws, a stubby tail, and enough cuteness to bring your entire day to a halt.

Our newest Mountain Mama girl is 11 weeks old, and we’re still figuring out all the things that make Fern uniquely Fern. She is partially blind and has a little hitch in her hippity-hop get-along. While her littermates are nearing 20 pounds, this tiny girl is topping out at six.

And this little lady has already survived parvo.

We’re still learning what her needs will mean as she grows, and we’ll share more as we get answers. For now, we know she deserves a lifetime of love, patient care, and every opportunity to thrive.

Fern will be looking for a very special home—one that understands puppies with special needs and is ready to embrace both the joy and the uncertainty of loving her. A family willing to learn alongside her, celebrate her milestones, and help her navigate the world at her own pace.
