Insights from my foster:Amber is an interesting balance, because she's an incredibly sweet kitten -- she wants to be glued to your side constantly, and can most often be found sitting on some part of your body if you're in the room -- but she's also getting over being skittish and jumpy. She's been known to run away at the sound of book pages turning, or crouch down and run away when you walk towards her, and sometimes she does stay in a safe, shadowy cardboard box to relax, but she definitely has a sweet streak a mile wide. It took her almost no time at all to start coming up to me every time I sat down in her room, and she prefers to sit right on you, purring and possibly making biscuits. When she fully gets over being nervous/skittish, I think she'll be impossibly cuddly. She's sooooo clingy, in an adorable way. She wants to be glued to you almost all the time if you let her. Every day I wake up with her sleeping right up against me, and when I'm sitting in bed on a laptop or reading, she comes straight to me and sits on me, purring, wherever she can find a place. Her favorite place is the crook of your elbow or on your legs, but if you're lying on your side, she'll make do with balancing on your hip or shoulder, and wherever she goes, she will sit there and purr until she falls asleep. It makes it really hard to get up and do anything you might need to do!
