Meet Quiche — a beautiful 2-year-old Great Pyr mix with the sweetest gentle giant personality. At just 73 lbs, this girl is still looking better and learning that food will always come consistently now. Because of her past, she can be a little protective over meals, but her foster truly believes it comes from insecurity and hunger rather than aggression. Outside of feeding time, Quiche is submissive, affectionate, and loves soaking up pets and snuggles from kids and adults alike. She also showed submissive behavior towards CATS. She does wonderfully with other dogs, has had no crate accidents, and is working hard on her house manners. While calm and gentle by nature, she also has a playful side that shines once she feels comfortable. Quiche is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, on preventions, and spayed. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
