Rocky is a miniature Australian Shepherd with a huge personality packed into a smaller package! He’s funny, spunky, energetic, and always ready for his next adventure—or his next cuddle session.
Rocky absolutely loves to play and soak up every bit of attention he can get. Whether you’re tossing a toy, spending time in the backyard, or simply hanging out together, he wants to be part of the fun. When he gets excited, he has the cutest habit of spinning in circles, making it impossible not to smile. One of his favorite treats is a peanut butter-filled bone, and he’ll happily settle in to enjoy it after a day of play.
While Rocky has plenty of energy, he also has a sweet, affectionate side. Once he’s had some exercise and attention, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you for some quality cuddle time.
Rocky’s biggest need is a family that has time to spend with him. Like many Australian Shepherds, he thrives on attention, daily exercise, and being included in his family’s activities. He’s looking for a home that can provide both physical activity and plenty of love and companionship.
Rocky is wonderfully social and enjoys meeting new people and other dogs. He’s friendly wherever he goes and has never shown any signs of aggression toward people or other animals.
Although he hasn’t traveled on many long road trips, Rocky rides well in the car. Whether it’s a trip to the veterinarian, the park, or running errands, he’s a happy passenger.

General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities.
We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
