Miguel is a fun-loving, one-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua with the softest fur you’ll ever pet! This little guy has the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. He loves being outside, chasing toys, and staying active, but when playtime is over, he’s happiest being held or curled up next to you for snuggles. If you’re looking for a dog who enjoys both adventures and couch cuddles, Miguel is your guy!
Miguel is crate trained and does great sleeping in his crate. Like many young dogs, he may take a few minutes to settle down at bedtime, but once he does, he sleeps well through the night.
He’s an excellent passenger in the car and is always ready to tag along on your next adventure. Miguel currently lives with two dogs and two cats and has done wonderfully with everyone. He’s also met dogs of all sizes and has been friendly and social with each one.
Miguel would thrive with a family that enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to include him in their daily adventures. Whether you’re playing fetch in the backyard, exploring a new trail, or relaxing on the couch after a busy day, Miguel is happiest when he’s with his people.

If you are interested in adopting Miguel, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
